Ana and I are a bit under the weather...

I hope all is well with family and friends. Ana and I are a bit under the weather due to such a drastic change in the seasons here in Cleveland. One thing that all Ohioans know about Cleveland weather is- wait ten minutes, it'll change.
Ana is all stuffed up, has icky things coming out of her nose, and is congested...you know---pretty much miserable. It's going to be a long night tonight...
Me, well I am alive, breathing and getting ready to celebrate Tony's Birthday at Fun-N-Stuff this upcoming Saturday Afternoon.
I honestly cannot believe he is turning 6. I remember to this day the moment he was born. 7lbs., 7 oz., 20 1/2 inches long and screaming; born on a Friday evening, Oct 4, 2002 at 7:26 p.m. He is a true a blessing in my life.
I spoke with Tim late this afternoon. He gets the keys to his new place in the morning and we are working on packing him up and moving him back home on the 18th of October. I have boxes ready to go in the back of the Caddy, and I am so excited that he decided to take this personal and difficult step to move home. Both my own family and The Cassidy Family all love him very much and want the best for him. Now that he's moving closer to Denise and I, we can be there in a moments notice if he should need anything.
Other than that, all is well. I still cannot find my camera that Ana decided to find a hiding place for, so these pics posted are a bit older. I really hope all is well and I'll add newer pics soon:) (After I find Ana's hiding spot!)

Just Blogging

I hope all is well with everyone. I've been extremely busy this week with the kids, getting ready for Tony's Big 6th Birthday Party, and chasing Ana around the house.

Al, Tony and I Had 'Astronomy Night' last evening with his Kindergarten Class. We went on a Nature Walk, learned about the stars, and sang campfire songs around a HUGE Bon Fire.

Today was Tony's last football game for the season:( [He's starting CYO Basketball soon], and we attended his best friend Brian Joe's (B.J.) 6th Birthday Party this afternoon. He could not get enough of jumping on the trampoline, and Ana couldn't get enough of the sand box. Trust me when I say she was covered from head to toe in sand...Straight to the tub she went the moment we got home.

I teach my first Sunday School class in the morning. I have most of the same children in the class that I had last year, which really helps. A few new ones have enrolled and am looking forward to meeting them and thier families. Have 10 boys and 3 girls---Heaven help me...

Looking so forward to seeing the members of the NEO Guatemalan Familes on Monday evening to help plan The Second Annual NEOGF Christmas Party.
Seems Ana got ahold of my camera and hid it somewhere here in the house, so no pics of kids tonight...sorry. When I run across it, I'll post.

Again, I hope all is well and have a great weekend!

Ana is using a "Big Girl" Cup

I hope all is well with the readers of this COMPLETELY DISORGANIZED BLOG...Still researching and trying:)
Wanted to let everyone know that Miss Ana is now learning how to use a "Big Girl" cup and is just about getting ready to go on the potty. I can't believe it has been 19 months since I first held her in my arms. If asked if I would Adopt again, the answer is "YES!!!" She is the apple of my eye. Enjoy!

Tim IS Signed/Tony Working on Homework

I hope all is well with all of my readers.... Just another 'CRAZY' day today. Tim's Lease is signed in Cuyahoga Falls and am looking forward to moving him the weekend of October 18th [one (1) month from today,in fact...~WOW... we need to begin packing, rent the truck, hire the movers (Denise, John and The Prochnow Clan) and organize the move.]

It will be SO WONDERFUL to have him back here in town. I was even telling Tim before we left his new "Diggs" that I am going to become Aunt Debi from when Grandpa lived in Bedford Hts. I am going to prepare the TRADITIONAL MEAL for the family prior to them arriving~IN "HIS" KITCHEN :) Working to keep the traditions alive...

These pics are of Tim's Kitchen in his new place (sorry no time to take more), and Anthony doing his homework. He's reading "Matt" (The Book), and working very hard on learning to write his letters and numbers. I am SOOO PROUD OF HIM!

All my best...

Having a BLAST with Ana...

I hope all is well with everyone... I am, just like every other MOM reading this, COMPLETELY "SWAMPED" with getting Tony's 6th Birthday Party invitations out, the party organized, all party supplies and cake ordered, homework done (He's learning to read:]), and dinner going~ At this point, if it does not come from a box, a drive - thru or a delivery driver, dinner WON'T happen...

Just wanted to share a few pics of Ana from today. I am really beginning to CHERISH the time I have alone with her while Tony is in school. I am learning so much about her and her little DETERMINED personality on a one-on-one basis. I have never had the opportunity to have her to myself and work with her individually since she has been home from Guatemala. I am looking forward to MANY more days of playing "Dolls," "Grocery Shopping," "Dress-up," and most IMPORTANTLY - JUST SNUGGLING!

All My Best...

Ana at "The Little Gym", Hurricane "IKE," and Rah Rah's 7TH Birthday

Sorry about the changes, AGAIN, to my Blog... I just cannot find the right Template to characterize Tony, Ana, Al and I. I am still searching for the "Just Right" Template that fits the personality of our family. I am SLOWLY learning how to work with Blogger.com, photos, video and audio.
Please continue to be patient with me as I adjust to the challenges of learning a new skill... Enjoy the pics from Ana at "The Little Gym", the celebration of Sarah's 7th Birthday (Tony and I call her Rah-Rah) and a few from Sunday evening as we sat in the dark due to Hurricane IKE. Hope all is well:)

He's Playing Flag Football

I can't believe it!
My son has grown into a young boy who is now is playing my most favorite sport of all time: FOOTBALL!!! Okay, okay... so it's flag football, but it is a start.
After struggling to become a mother and a family a mere six years ago, I would have never imagined I'd get here. I am the proud Mom to two of the most beautiful children anyone could be blessed with, along with family and friends that are simply REMARKABLE...
Enjoy the pics.

Bear with me

As I said before, continue to bear with me on the changes to my Blog.

It's been an extremely busy week already and it will continue to be so until Sunday... Wait, did I say Sunday? Sunday will be the day I sit on my wide-behind and watch hours of JACKSONVILLE JAGS FOOTBALL on The NFL Sunday Ticket. I know, I know, I am from Cleveland and should be rooting for the Browns (and I will), but The City of Jacksonville stole my heart when Modell picked up and went to Baltimore. Other reasons too, TIM...

Denise, John, and I are working on getting my brother, Tim, moved from Medina to Stow this month so he can be closer to us now that both our parents are gone. I am an apartment hunting/credit checking/planning on starting to pack him up woman right now. Denise and John, please know I DO appreciate your efforts and thanks for everything you guys do. Love you!

I have an hour and a half to get out the door to get Ana a Haircut, Tony AND Ana to the doctor, then attend training tonight for Sunday School teaching. WHEW! Guess I better "Get Going."
